What Is Steel Or Copper Recycling?
Copper is used in electrical equipment such as wiring and motors. Steel is used in buildings, as concrete reinforcing rods, bridges, infrastructure, tools, ships, trains, cars, bicycles, machines, electrical appliances, furniture, and weapons. First, the metal is shredded creating small pieces of scrap metal, which are then transported into a high-temperature furnace to be melted. The high heat eventually transforms these metal scraps into molten metal, which can easily form new products.
Why Is It Special To Recycle Steel Or Copper?
Depending on the steel or copper in the bin and the calculated tonnage from the respective recycler reimbursement will be made to you. This reimbursement can be put towards the charge on your account (delivery, tippings, removal of the bin used) or can be donated to a charity of your choice.
