What Is Pigeon Waste?

Pigeon waste consists of biological materials from pigeons and associated pests that can pose serious health risks. These materials may contain harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Exposure—whether through inhalation, ingestion, or skin contact—can cause illnesses in humans and pets, ranging from respiratory infections to more serious diseases.

Bagging Requirements

  • All waste must be double-bagged in two 6-mil polyethylene bags.
  • Each bag must be goose-neck tied and sealed with duct tape.
  • Large items must be wrapped in two layers of 6-mil polyethylene and sealed with duct tape.

We also sell approved disposal bags that meet regulatory requirements.
