What is Concrete Washout?

Concrete washout bins allow both wet concrete and water to be contained, recycled and disposed of properly. Recycling concrete is more environmentally friendly and less expensive than bringing materials to the landfill.

Why Use a Concrete Washout Bin?

Concrete washout bins safely contain concrete and water during construction pours while ensuring both materials can be recycled responsibly.

  • Prevents environmental contamination
  • Helps recycle both concrete and water
  • More affordable than landfill disposal
  • Keeps construction sites organized

Who Is It For?

Anyone working on a project where excess concrete or wash water needs to be safely disposed of.

  • Concrete contractors: Driveways, sidewalks, and foundations
  • Construction companies: Structural pours and large projects
  • Commercial builders: Building construction sites
  • Residential builders: Homes, garages, and renovations
Environmental Compliance

Why Concrete Washout Matters

Throughout Canada, it is illegal to dump fresh concrete and wash water directly onto the ground. Chemicals in concrete react with water and can contaminate soil and groundwater, making the mixture corrosive and environmentally hazardous.

Concrete washout bins allow both the concrete and water to be collected safely so they can be properly recycled instead of contaminating the environment.
